The First and The Last Malaysia Week

Thrilling, exciting, and stimulating!! These are the 3 vocabularies that represents my first Malaysia Week at the rainforest site called KKB. (Kuala Kubu Baru)
My favorite activity in our site was... of course tubing!! If you don't know what tubing is, tubing is a activity that we did in a river. You ride on a big black float ring and you just go down the river with a wind blowing your face and your hair. The one thing I can really promise you is..... IT IS FUN!! I think you really should try at least once in your life, because you might feel like you are going to die... (==
My heart pounding with excitement and stimulation. The river rapids swallowing rocks and not letting anyone or anything come near by, the water spattering up in the air like a shiny marbles, I gazed at the river standing, having an air of importance, right in front of me. We took a turn to go, and I was after a girl called Lauren. I stared the river sweeping her bright pink bathing suit and was gone, vanished, and I realized Ms. Khairudden padding on my shoulder to let me know it was my turn. I hopped on to my tube and was now frightened as I watched at the thick wood stick disappearing at the huge slope, which also swept Lauren. I held on to my tube, which was the only thing I could hold on to make me feel safe, even though it didn't support me from falling...
"Here I go!!"
I thought, as Ms. Khairuddin shoved my tube forward, towards the river, where I could not see anything after that, it was like a black hole. The rapids welcomed me to the vertical sweep, making my hands squeeze on my tube. I felt going backwards and suddenly... "SPLASH!!" I was still squeezing my hands on my tube and was welcomed by the rope from one of our guides. I pinched myself... I could feel it, it wasn't a dream...
"I DID IT!!"

My Sour Legs and The Basketball Game...

Today(Jan.15th), our basketball team had an fantastic game with Mont Kiara International School. This was my first game ever since I started play in the team.

As the referee blew the whistle, the big orange basketball flew high in to the air. I jumped with my sour legs and smashed the ball to my team mates and here we go, the game has started. I looked around the basketball court and there they were, the great pass from my team. I dribbled passing around the people, running towards the basket and set up for the lay-up. The basketball went in to the basket with a thud. There, we are winning now! I thought about the winning with excitement as I looked at the electric score board that says 2:0.

2:2, 4:2, 6:2, 6:4... we fought fabulously with tall people and the score was showing 10:4 until the last 8 minutes. I took a shot that didn't go in to the basket like I expected, suddenly the HUGE pain came to my thigh and to my bones. I wouldn't stand still but I tried to chase the basketball as hard as I could. I can run. I said that to myself to cheer up my body and my legs. But with a sudden, the basketball was in front of me and passed... I couldn't run or anything but just standing there and waiting for the ball to pass me. Our couch (Ms.Jennings) came up to me and asked me if I was OK. I said OK but actually I wasn't OK, my legs were burning that I could barely walk.

Somehow I was sitting on the bench and the another girl was playing my place. Ms. Jennings told me to stretch my thigh, which I did. I stretched my sour thigh and looked at the score board, it was 16:14 and we only had 5 more minutes to do. I didn't care about the score but i just wanted to play again. I looked at my sour thigh and I knew I couldn't. 1 more minute! I thought, I thought that we can win if we keep this score and not let them to score.

The referee blew the whistle as the basketball was on the ground. I looked at the score board and there they are 16:18 . I couldn't believe, only one basket. We lost the whole game only by A basket. I was mad at myself by the time the game ended. Only if my defences were better... and didn't let that girl to score once... Only once, we might have win this game... Only if my legs were normal...

My sour thigh and the basketball game was the worst game but at the same time it is the BEST memory... I think... (==

Small but Happy!

Now, my mom is at Hock Choon and I'm at my house with my pet dog, Ken. The wind breezing into my house and drying down my sweat from rock climbing that we had in PE last period. The only sounds I can hear now is that the sound of I type and the sound of the trees the wind makes. Sometimes I can hear babies crying at outside and the snores from Ken who is lying besides me and having a peace time like I'm doing. This is just a daily small event but it makes me feel cool and very calm in this quietness. I usually don't like quietness but at least once in a day I feel like I want to be only myself and this time with no sounds and cool winds makes me happy.
"Ping-pong~" the door bell rings as Ken jumps up and start to bark. Mom is back and this is the time when I always think back to my real life...... OMG!! I have so much homework to do today!! or sometimes Oh... I wanted to have more peace time... or like that... Now I can hear Ken barking, the stove burning from the kitchen, and can smell the scent of today's dinner. I bet today's dinner will be curry rice!
I only can have that special space for about 30 minutes but I guess I feel that it's special because it's only the tiny bit part of the day that I can be in real peace. I know it's wired to write about my peace time in my blog entry but I wanted to tell you about what I do after I come back from school and how I feel special about my life.

Chopsticks...!!

The chopsticks... very small and just 2 sticks but it does a huge job in my life!!
My family uses chopsticks every day in every meals. In the world, some of the people usually used knifes and forks and some of them used their hands to eat food, and some of them like me uses chopsticks to hold food. Every people in the world uses different tools to eat food. Well but for now I'm going to talk about "chopsticks"!!

I know that you want to know WHO invented the chopsticks... OK here it is...us, the people invented the chopsticks. WE invented the chopsticks in about 5000 years ago in China. When people tried to take food from the pot safety, they used a pair of branches, bamboos, and even the tusks of elephants. That was the first time people ever invented and used the chopsticks. After that when the people in China went to the different countries, they taught them about the chopsticks. They went to Easter Asia such as Taiwan, Korea, and Japan. And now in the world, many of the countries are using like; Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Mongolia. (many countries yeah?)
Well I want to end this post but let me tell you the last and the very important thing. So you know I'm Japanese and in our culture there is a big rule how to use the chopsticks. When you are using chopsticks and eating, the food can NOT be transferred from one's chopsticks and the others. Because we pick up the bones with chopsticks in funeral, that you use 2 pairs of chopsticks with 2 people and put the bones in to the urns. So if you are eating with Japanese and you use the chopsticks like this...... the people will look at you like WHAT TA HECK!! THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE CHOPSTICKS!!! OH BOY...!! so be very careful about that...!!

Innocent Animals... SPCA

In the world, the humans, and animals... we all have the same rights to live in the earth treating fairy. But it is the only dream now... Us, the humans are treating animals unfairly, the innocent animals. We have a same importance for our lives and we all have the same rights to live on the earth by enjoying them.
Not all of us is treating animals unfairly and the leader to rescue animals from that is SPCA. (SPCA is about 3 minutes walking distant from ISKL Ampang campus.) SPCA is rescuing animals who lost their owners because the owners just don't care about their pets. Or even the animals who are always wondering around the streets. SPCA will help them from the dangerous places and will treat them fairy in the shelter which has many other animals who has experienced the same things.
Can you believe that if your parents go to travel without you and won't come back again, or your parents through you away in the wild street without any food, and drinks? Well if you said no, think about what part of our humans are doing to the animals. If you feel sorry for them, or if you felt same things as what I did.... Sad, angry, shocked, sad... than try to help the animals and make a world a better place! OK here is the small things you can do to help SPCA and their animals.
  • Donate newspapers, old towels, old cages, dogs leases and even the collars to SPCA.
  • If you want to have a pet and want to take care of them, adapt from SPCA not from the pet shops.
  • If your friends want to buy a pet, suggest them to adapt from SPCA.Volunteer at SPCA by cleaning up the animals cages, feed them and go to other places (like big shopping mall) and sale the animals there.
  • TAKE CARE OF THE ANIMALS!!! Just take care of your pet as long as they can alive and treat them fairly and with a lot of love.

Animals are just innocent that just want you to love them. They can't talk but look at their eyes... can't you feel that they want to tell you something? Sometimes it can be I'm hungry!! Give me some food!! and sometimes they tell ,Don't leave me alone!! I will miss you a lot!! Or even they tell you to hug them to make them feel good and safe. Those innocent animals, in the world humans are treating them unfairly... part of them are having a hard time with it. You can make a difference, a HUGE difference in the world!! So start with those 5 things that you can help with!!
